The 2UUL MT30 smart digital multimeter is an electronic measurement and diagnostic instrument specially developed for smartphone, tablet and laptop repair workshops. Workshop Tip & Usage

For short-circuit diagnostics on a smartphone motherboard (e.g. VBUS, VBAT or VDD_MAIN lines), configure the 2UUL MT30 in continuity/diode test mode and use the fineness of the original probes to probe directly on the SMT decoupling capacitors without pressing excessively. Before any resistance or continuity measurement on a motherboard, make sure to strictly disconnect the battery and any external power source (Lightning/USB-C cable) to avoid skewing readings or straining the internal ceramic fuses. In case of prolonged non-use, remove the two AAA batteries to prevent sulfation of the power compartment contacts.
