Workshop Tip & Usage

Before returning the laptop to the end customer, the Workshop recommends performing an initial battery calibration cycle: charge the device to 100% on mains power, then let the battery discharge gradually to about 10-15% before recharging it fully without interruption. Avoid letting the accumulator drop below the 5% mark to preserve the internal chemistry of the Li-ion cells. During workshop storage before resale, make sure to keep the battery in a dry place at an ambient temperature between 15°C and 25°C, charged to about 50% of its capacity to avoid electrode passivation.
