Workshop Tip & Usage

Before replacing this battery, scrupulously check the exact model of the customer Dell XPS or Inspiron: the DXGH8 model is exclusively intended for XPS 13 9370 and 9380 chassis. It is incompatible with older XPS 13 generations (9350 / 9360 using the JHXFO battery) or newer ones (9300 / 9310). For dismantling the lower aluminum shell, use a Torx T5 screwdriver for the peripheral screws and be sure to gently lift the cover without forcing. Disconnect the connection ribbon of the old battery using a plastic spudger while paying attention to the connector on the motherboard. During initial workshop commissioning, perform a full calibration cycle: charge the refurbished battery to 100% under mains power, then let the device discharge gradually down to about 10-15% before performing an uninterrupted recharge.
