Electrochemicaly, this refurbished module integrates an assembly of 4 high-density Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) cells from the Green Cell brand, delivering a capacity of 2200 mAh at a nominal voltage of 14.8V (14.4V compatible) for an accumulated energy of 33 Wh. This configuration provides a perfectly regulated power supply to the motherboard components and supports up to 500 full charge and discharge cycles. The whole unit is managed by an intelligent electronic management circuit (BMS - Battery Management System) responsible for the continuous regulation of the charging current. This controller protects the component and the computer against overvoltages, deep discharges, short circuits as well as the risks of thermal runaway during intensive use.

The streamlined external casing is injected from a high-density ABS insulating polymer, rigorously adapted to the slides and locking notches of the HP chassis. Designed to fit directly under the rear external bay of the laptop, this removable module clicks into place without requiring the removal of the lower cover. The original mechanical latches adjust perfectly to ensure a rigid attachment and a firm hold under the device.

Workshop Advice & Usage

Before validating the order for a professional customer, carefully check the exact generation of the HP laptop: the HS04 reference is strictly reserved for the HP 250/255 G4 and G5 series. It is not compatible with the HP 250 G6 generation (which uses the JC04 battery) nor with the G7 generation (using HT03XL). Installation is carried out with the power off, mains power adapter unplugged. Insert the removable battery into the rear bay until the safety latches fully click into place. During initial commissioning in the workshop, the workshop advises performing a full calibration cycle: charge the refurbished battery to 100% on mains power, then let the device discharge gradually to about 10-15% before performing an uninterrupted full recharge.
