The Green Cell 2900 mAh internal replacement battery (part number RYXXH / 0RYXXH) is a refurbished spare part specially selected for the maintenance, reconditioning and renovation of Dell Latitude professional laptops from the E5250, E5450, E5550 series as well as the Dell Latitude 3150 and 3160 education models. Electrochemical-wise, this refurbished module incorporates an assembly of 3 high-density Lithium-ion Polymer (Li-Po) cells of the Green Cell brand, delivering a capacity of 2900 mAh at a nominal voltage of 11.1V for an accumulated energy of 38 Wh. This configuration provides a perfectly regulated electrical power supply to the motherboard and supports up to 500 complete charge and discharge cycles. The whole is controlled by an intelligent electronic management circuit (BMS - Battery Management System) responsible for the continuous control of the charging current. This controller protects the component and the computer against overvoltages, deep discharges, short circuits as well as risks of thermal runaway during intensive use.

The ultra-flat external casing is moulded in a heat-resistant high-density insulating polymer, rigorously adapted to the internal footprint of Dell Latitude chassis. Integration takes place directly under the lower shell of the laptop and interfaces with the motherboard by means of a flat secure ribbon connector. The location of the metal fixing eyelets faithfully respects the original assembly points to guarantee a rigid fixing without exerting mechanical constraints under the palm rest.

Workshop Tip & Usage

Before replacing this battery, carefully check the technical specifications of the original battery removed from the client PC. On 14 and 15-inch chassis (Latitude E5450 and E5550), Dell marketed two variations: the 3-cell 11.1V version (RYXXH) and the 4-cell 15.2V version (G5M10). These two models have different voltages and screw configurations. During the intervention, turn off the device, unplug the mains power supply and remove the bottom cover. Disconnect the interconnection cable of the old battery with a plastic spatula (spudger) without forcing the motherboard connector. During initial workshop commissioning, carry out a complete calibration cycle: charge the refurbished battery to 100% under mains voltage, then let the device discharge gradually to around 10-15% before performing an uninterrupted recharge.
