The construction is dual-material. The back panel is injected in rigid acrylic (polymethyl methacrylate, PMMA), a polymer with a light transmission of approximately 92% and stable against ultraviolet rays: unlike a polycarbonate or TPU back, it does not yellow under prolonged sun exposure and maintains superior surface hardness against micro-scratches. The peripheral contours are shaped in flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a material chosen for its energy-absorption capacity and to facilitate the installation of the device. The corners incorporate an air-cushion structure designed to dissipate lateral impacts.

The magnetic ring rests on a permanent neodymium magnet matrix (NdFeB) integrated into the thickness of the acrylic back. Workshop advice

The acrylic panel is delivered covered with a protective film on both sides, applied at the factory. This film must imperatively be removed before setting up the device: if not removed, it is frequently interpreted by the end user as a scratch or a bubble on the acrylic and generates an avoidable after-sales return. Remember to brief your counter sales staff.

Points to watch regarding maintenance: acrylic does not withstand ketonic solvents (acetone) or alcohols, which cause irreversible micro-crazing of the surface. Do not use isopropanol from your repair station on this panel. Cleaning is done with a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with neutral soapy water.
