The chassis is built from a thermoplastic engineering polymer resistant to thermal variations and UV. The holding structure relies on a 4-claw system reinforced at the corners, lined with soft anti-slip silicone gel inserts. This material absorbs some of the micro-vibrations transmitted by the handlebar and prevents any scratching on the smartphone chassis. The upper expansion mechanism features a high-tension spring allowing one-handed insertion, complemented on the rear side by a mechanical locking latch ("Security Lock") which firmly blocks the jaws once the phone is in place.

Installation on the handlebar is carried out without any tools thanks to a manual screw-thread tightening clamp. Two silicone thickness rings are supplied to adjust the fixation diameter to the exact millimetre while preventing the mount from sliding around the handlebars. The 360° adjustable ball joint allows you to switch instantly from portrait to landscape display. Its design tolerates a total device thickness of up to 20 mm, making this mount compatible with the majority of smartphones on the market (from 4.7 to 6.8 inches), even when equipped with a thick protective case.

Workshop Advice & Usage

During sale or workshop assembly, emphasise to the end customer the dual fixation step: after inserting the phone via the spring mechanism, it is imperative to engage the safety latch located at the rear to lock the mechanism. Without this manual locking, repeated impacts on degraded roads or at high speed on a motorcycle risk compressing the spring and dislodging the device. Also remember to systematically use the included silicone shims when mounting on thin-diameter handlebars to prevent the mount from turning under the weight of large-format phones.
