JBL Go 4 Portable Red Bluetooth Speaker IP67 with Auracast

Description

The JBL Go 4 ultra-portable speaker in a red finish represents an essential standard for the B2B market of mobile audio accessories and mobility. Designed to offer specialised resellers a high-turnover branded product, this fourth generation brings major software and hardware improvements. Its redesigned pocket format and expanded integrated handle meet the auxiliary sound reinforcement needs of end users, whether for business trips, outdoor leisure, or daily office use.

On the electro-acoustic side, the JBL Go 4 integrates a resized 45 mm dynamic driver delivering 4.2W RMS power, configured to restore the JBL Pro Sound acoustic profile with a reworked bass level. The onboard logic board houses a Bluetooth 5.3 module supporting Auracast broadcasting technology, making it possible to pair two Go 4 speakers in stereo or connect an unlimited number of compatible JBL speakers. The device incorporates an 850 mAh (3.23 Wh) Lithium-ion Polymer battery ensuring up to 7 hours of continuous playback, extendable by an additional 2 hours via the activation of Playtime Boost mode in the JBL Portable app. The whole unit is sealed in a dust and waterproof housing according to the IP67 standard.

The mechanical assembly of the Go 4 integrates eco-friendly materials with post-consumer recycled plastic and fabric. The high-density ABS polymer shell is girded with anti-slip silicone inserts on the base and sides to absorb shocks and stabilise the speaker during high-volume playback. For the maintenance workshop and after-sales managers, the terminal features physical direct-pressure control interfaces, a universal USB-C charging port with charge detection, and a customisable equalisation controller via the dedicated smartphone application.

Workshop & Usage Advice

To prevent after-sales returns related to failures of the charging sub-assembly, inform the end customers of the need to completely dry the cavity of the USB-C socket before any connection to the mains, particularly after immersion or exposure to water splashes. It is recommended to use standard 5V / 1A mains adapters to maintain the battery life and to avoid unregulated fast charging blocks. In the event of software locking or Auracast pairing malfunction, reset the internal microcontroller by simultaneously holding down the Bluetooth and Volume + buttons for more than 5 seconds until the status LED resets.
