Workshop Advice & Usage

To definitively eliminate the risks of hardware damage and after-sales returns for "burned or faulty screen", apply a strict rule of use within your workshop: never spray the foam directly onto the screen surface. Although KF foam is designed not to run, a direct projection can infiltrate by capillarity under the lower joints of the chassis under the effect of the spray pressure. The liquid then directly reaches the panel control printed circuits (COF ribbons), causing the appearance of dead vertical lines or a fatal short-circuit. For perfectly safe cleaning, spray the foam onto a clean microfibre cloth or a lint-free technical wiping cloth, then gently wipe the screen surface from top to bottom.
