Workshop Advice & Usage

Remind your technicians that the RF4 RF-M6 mat is a sorting and organisation tool, not a micro-soldering work surface. Do not expose the surface of the mat to the direct airflow of a hot air station or the tip of a soldering iron, as extreme heat (above 80C) could deform the laminated coating and alter the remanence of the internal magnetic field. For cleaning, preferably use a soft cloth slightly dampened with 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove flux or grease residue without altering the grid screen-printing.
