Description

The Vention wireless HDMI transmitter (TX module only) is a strategic extension component for AV integrators, IT resellers, and B2B meeting room managers. This transmitting dongle allows a digital HDMI video source (laptop, workstation, recorder, camera, or console) to be converted into a high-frequency signal broadcast wirelessly to a compatible receiver. It eliminates the need for cumbersome cable runs in professional environments, conference rooms, or educational institutions.

At the heart of the device, the module incorporates a radio controller operating on the 5 GHz frequency band to guarantee smooth video transmission with low latency, free from interference with conventional 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. It supports a Full HD 1080p high-definition video stream at a 60 Hz refresh rate (1920 x 1080 pixels) with hot hardware encoding. The casing is machined from high thermal resistance ABS thermoplastic polymer, and features a gold-plated Male HDMI connector protecting the contacts against oxidation and guaranteeing optimal input signal conductivity.

Thanks to its Plug and Play auto-configurable hardware architecture, the transmitter requires no software driver installation or complex network configuration under Windows, macOS, Linux, or Android. Its compact dongle-type format plugs directly into the video output of the source. Power to the radio circuit is provided by a dedicated USB-C connector (5V⎓2A), allowing direct connection to an available USB port on the host PC or an external power block.

Workshop Advice & Usage

Please note: this reference corresponds exclusively to the transmitter (TX) and cannot function alone. To broadcast the signal to a monitor, TV, or video projector, the use of a Vention receiver module (RX) is mandatory. When installing in a professional environment, make sure to power the transmitter exclusively via its USB-C port by connecting it to a source delivering a stable 2A amperage (PC USB 3.0 port or AC adapter). Insufficient power supply can cause signal drops or untimely resets of the 5 GHz module. For successful pairing with an existing receiver, press and hold the function button until the LED indicator flashes rapidly.
